Beta Protocol — Pre-Registered

Pre-Registered Beta Protocol /

In real research, you publish your protocol before you run the study — so you can't quietly move the goalposts when the results come in. Supplement brands don't do this. We're doing it anyway. This page is our commitment, published before the first data point is collected.

Protocol version: 1.0
Pre-registered: August 15, 2026
Status: recruiting first cohort
Amendments: any change to this protocol will be logged on this page, with a date and a reason. The original text stays visible.

What we're testing

Whether 30 consecutive nights of Night Reset (4 capsules, 30–60 minutes before bed), alongside basic sleep hygiene, is associated with self-reported improvements in evening wind-down, night continuity, and morning clarity in adults who describe their nights as “broken.”

Design

  • Type: open-label observational cohort. No placebo group, no blinding — and we'll say so everywhere the results appear. This is a structured honest look, not a randomized controlled trial.
  • Participants: 10–30 adults (25–60), recruited from early customers and testers. Testers receive the product free — every public quote from them will carry that disclosure.
  • Duration: 7 nights of baseline (no product) + 30 nights on the protocol.

Screening — who we turn away

Before enrolling, every participant answers an apnea-risk screen (loud snoring, observed breathing pauses, gasping awakenings, daytime sleepiness). Anyone who flags is referred to a doctor and excluded from the beta — a capsule is the wrong tool for apnea, and pretending otherwise would poison both their nights and our data. Also excluded: pregnancy or nursing, sedative or thyroid medication, diagnosed sleep disorders under active treatment, under 18.

What we measure

  • Ease of wind-down (1–10, nightly quick log)
  • Number of remembered night wakings
  • Morning clarity (1–10)
  • Daytime stress (1–10, weekly)
  • Optional: weekly averages from a sleep tracker (Oura, Whoop, watch) for those who already wear one — trends only, never single nights
  • Side effects — asked about directly every week, not waiting for volunteers

What we'll publish

Within 30 days of the last participant finishing: the number who started, the number who finished, the numbers themselves (means and ranges, baseline vs. protocol), every reported side effect, and the dropouts with reasons. We publish regardless of outcome. If the data is flat, you'll read that here in plain language. Results will appear in The Journal and be linked from this page.

What this is not

This is not a clinical trial, and its results won't be dressed up as one. No “clinically proven” language will come out of this study — that phrase requires randomized controlled evidence on the finished product, which this is not. What it buys, honestly, is: structured real-world data, published side-effect accounting, and testimonials with disclosed methodology instead of cherry-picked screenshots.

Conflicts, stated plainly

This study is run and paid for by us — Green Style Hub LLC, the company that makes Night Reset. Participants receive free product. There is no way to remove that bias from a self-run beta; there is only disclosing it, pre-registering the protocol, and publishing everything. That's what this page is.
